To coordinate the most important issues of international economic activities in Udmurtia, the Ministry of international relations set up the Board of the Ministry.
The Board is comprised by the representatives of the local legislature (Chairman of the Commission responsible for international contacts), Russian customs committee (head of the office in Udmurtia), Russian Ministry for trade and economic development (head of the office in Udmurtia), Russian Ministry for foreign affairs (head of the office in Udmurtia), President of the Udmurt Chamber of commerce, city administration of Izhevsk (head of dpt. for international relations), etc. To discuss specific issues, the Board may invite officials from other organizations.
The main objectives of the Board are:
- To ensure better efficiency of the Ministry;
- To improve conditions for international economic cooperation in the region;
- To plan joint activities and events;
- To achieve better understanding between different organizations responsible for international contacts.
