The Ministry of international relations of the Udmurt Republic is responsible for all types of international activities in Udmurtia, including such fields as business, protocol, culture, science, education, information, etc. On behalf of the regional Government, the Ministry establishes and expands ties with foreign governmental and non-governmental organizations, companies and individuals, hosts foreign delegations and organizes visits of Udmurt delegations to other countries, drafts international agreements.
The Ministry provides consultancy and assistance to local and foreign companies in establishing appropriate contacts, promotes products manufactured in Udmurtia at the international markets, takes part in the organization of local fairs and exhibitions as well as visits to or presentations at the similar events abroad. Another priority is to attract international investments in the region by means of eliminating information and language barriers and rendering any other required support.
For better decision making, the Ministry collects information on international trade and investments in Udmurtia, analyzes customs and official statistics.
Development of international cooperation in the field of education, health protection, science, culture, sport and tourism falls within the competence of the Ministry as well.
The Ministry runs international training and consultancy programs to up-grade knowledge and skills of experts, businessmen and civil servants from Udmurtia.
Our overall objective is to make the Udmurt Republic hospitable and open.
